An epithet I seem to have aquired in various places around the world.
I am very lucky to have enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) a rich and varied life. I have worked as a great many things from practical wildlife conservationist to research scientist.
I have been interested in photography since childhood, and worked in a camera shop and as a studio photographer for many years. At the moment I am concentrating on wildlife photography, specialising in two areas Southern Africa and South Central America.
There are some examples of my work on the photography pages. If you like any of the images many are available from my sister site photography in the wild in a variety of print formats and on decorative items. If you would like one of the images from this site that is not on photography in the wild please email me.
Having recently given up diving I have since taken up archery. This is proving to be quite absorbing - I'm also doing quite well which helps.
